Paradigm is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction, & building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for a software developer—an estimator—to be part of revolutionizing these industries.
Our software development team builds and supports a suite of applications. We host our flagship product, a web application, on Azure using a SaaS model. We build our front ends using such technologies as React, HTML, and CSS. We build our APIs and back-end services using either.NET 6.0 or NodeJS, along with TypeScript and PostgreSQL. We utilize Docker and various IaC frameworks for containerization and deployment.
We're always growing, learning, and experimenting with other technologies and techniques.What You Will Do:
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of teams and projects; you will enhance and maintain the code for the backend APIs, services, and desktop applications.
This role provides a good blend of teamwork and individual project work.
You will be responsible for supporting and investigating issues involving released software.
You will design and implement model data structures to ensure scalability.
You will collaborate on designs, with a focus on business requirements, computing, & data storage. You will integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
You will interact with the QA team to meet quality & regulatory standards.
What You Need to Succeed:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, or its equivalent, or comparable professional experience is required.
You will need critical thinking, including creative development skills, requirements analysis capabilities, and proven problem-solving skills.
You have experience developing in a modern IDE such as Visual Studio or Rider.
You need to be dependable, organized, and enjoy working in a changing/fast-paced environment. We live in Agile/Scrum.
You can take direction and work independently to creatively meet business objectives.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. Most roles at Paradigm have three levels: Associate, Mid, and Senior. Our pay ranges are inclusive of all three levels (if applicable); our US-based associate-level pay begins at $60,000 annually for this role. The salary does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary and benefits. These compensation levels are subject to an annual review.
